Follow-up to Chessmaster 5500 and member of this long-running and successful series of chess games. The game combines a high degree of customizability, strong AI and good teaching functions. There is a full chess tutorial by Bruce Pandolfini and a selection of voice-annotated games by Josh Waitzkin. There are also extensive in-game advice options. There is are over 100 AI opponents to choose from ranging in difficulty to Grandmaster level.
