Installment in this highly-successful series of chess games. As with the previous games it is designed for both beginners and masters of the game. The game incorporates a new chess engine that promises to provide stiff AI competition. It also incorporates a large database of games. The game is hosted by Josh Waitzkin. The game offers a strong 'classroom' mode that helps players develop their game and includes various timed challenges. You can also play against another person via hotseating, modem/serial connection, LAN or on-line. The game's graphics and interface are effective.
