Deer Avenger
Hunting game with a twist. You play a deer named Bambo, who is out for revenge. Armed with one of three weapons (slingshot, M-16 or bazooka) you hunt the human hunters. The game is humorous, playing on all the stereotypes of the dumb hunter.
The action takes place in three locations at different times of year; Connecticut in spring, Minnesota in winter, and West Virginia in fall. You locate a target on a map, looking for the tell-tale signs of activity - such as empty beer cans. Once located you lure them out with one of a selection of humorous calls and then let rip.
The heads of successful kills are mounted in a trophy room.
The graphics, including the various landscapes and caricatures, are adequate and the sound is what you'd expect for hunting game.
This budget title relies on novelty for its success and does not offer much long term appeal.
