Heroes Chronicles: Warlords of the Wasteland

Turn-based strategy game and one of four related Hero Chronicles games, each available at a budget price. The games employ the Heroes of Might and Magic III engine for good graphics and in-depth gameplay. They combine strategy and role-playing gameplay. Set in the Might and Magic universe, you play a hero named Tarnum, who is on a quest to save his soul. This installment, as with the others, has its own objectives. The game is played on map levels and the aim is to dominate these maps. The gameplay involves exploring the land, gathering and processing resources to expand your empire and armed forces, and combat. The game has a good battle system. The RPG style gameplay involves finding items needed to progress through the game and developing new skills. A good tutorial is included. There is no multi-player mode.
