Homeworld 2: Cataclysm
Action-oriented RTS game set in space. This sequel features an all-new set of ships and a single-player campaign of 17 missions that carries on the story of the acclaimed original game. Relatively minor improvements have been made to the graphics and interface.
Set fifteen years after then end of the first game, you take control of a mining ship. This is upgraded as you progress through the game, ultimately to a powerful mother-ship with its own fleet. You decide how your ship and fleet develops by concentrating in one of several research trees. You'll face a new challenging foe called the Beast. During the campaign you'll be placed in the control of two fleets and, as before, the results of missions carry over to the next. There is also a strong multi-player mode for games on-line or over LAN.
