Motocross Madness
Motocross sim. The game is divided into single-race, tournament, and full-season championship options. There are three modes of racing; Supercross, Baja and National. Supercross is a set of 15 indoor tracks. A full season involves racing all of these. Baja involves racing five cross-country tracks passing through way points. National consists of harder outdoor racing. In addition, you can perfect your aerial moves in Stunt Quarry mode. In all there are 30 tracks and the game also incorporates a full track editor. Up to eight people can race or vie for stunt points via modem, network, and internet.
Tracks are not limited to realistic environments, for instance one is set in an Egyptian pyramid. The game boasts an excellent physics engine which models the bike and rider separately. The game boasts good AI and graphics.
Bike setup plays an important part in this game. Terrain is a crucial factor in determining the best set up for your bike. There are three main bike types and each of these can be fine tuned to a great degree. A more realistic or more arcade-like feel to the handling of the bikes can be achieved by turning on or off the level of automation.
