NBA Live 2001
Installment in the hit series of basketball. The game features updated rosters, improved graphics and enhanced gameplay. Game options include exhibition matches, one-on-one practice, playoffs, full season, challenge and franchise mode. The franchise mode has more depth than that in the last game in the series, with more player options and more information to draw on. A new challenge system gives players bonuses for achieving certain victory criteria such as winning three matches in a row. There is strong multi-player mode.
New moves will be added. The game promises advanced graphics. In particular bench, court and crowd graphics are improved. Games are accompanied by a play-by-play commentary by Bob Elliott. Hip-hop style music is also incorporated. On the PC and PSX 2 multiple player expressions feature and on the PC it is possible to import faces.
