Pac-Man: Adventures in Time
3D update of the classic game. It combines the essentials of the classic gameplay with 3D level design. Notably Pac-Man can now jump. The premise of the main 'Quest' mode, is that Pac-Man must embark on a journey through time in order to prevent the destruction of his home planet. He must find five magic pills that sustain the planet's core. They are spread five eras from pre-history to the future.
Level settings include ancient Egyptian and the wild west. Levels consist of mazes with a twist, each incorporates platforms and obstacles and is populated with distinctive enemies. As a result, there is a significant puzzle component to the game. Dots, which can be eaten by Pac-man are strewn throughout the game. there is also a versus mode, in which you can compete against the computer or another player. The game's control system is straightforward.
