San Francisco Rush 2049

Part of a series of popular games first released for the arcades. The game offers single races or full grand prix, as well as two player races. There is a selection of vehicles to choose from, ranging from beginner through expert to extreme. Four tracks set on the San Francisco Streets are incorporated and these can be raced in reverse. They include short cuts and varied times of day and weather conditions are recreated. On the PlayStation the game's physics model could be better making the cars handling quite unrealistically and the graphics are only adequate. These promise to be improved upon in the Dreamcast version.
