The fourth game in this popular series of strategy games is currently in development. You'll be able to choose to play one of three races, the Vikings, Romans or Mayans. You'll face opposition a god named Morbus and his minions whose aim is to turn the Earth into a wasteland. As in the previous installments in the series the gameplay will involve building up settlements, industries and an army and combat. Improvements in graphics and gameplay, together with other refinements over the last game in the series, are promised. A zoom function will be introduced. There will be three campaigns as well as a set of stand-alone scenarios. A strong multi-player mode will feature, for up to 14 people.
