Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol
This is a version of the popular military tactical sim for the PlayStation. It puts you in control of a special operations team. The game consists of a series of challenging missions, with diverse objectives and settings (including Siberia, Korea, Vietnam and Bosnia). You choose your characters from a selection with distinctive skills profile. Results carry over from one mission to the next so you must preserve your men.
You can switch between control of your characters, enabling you to coordinate maneuvers. It is also possible to cooperatively play these missions with a friend (on a split screen). Stealth plays a part in the gameplay and most missions take place at night.
An extensive range of weapons and items of equipment are incorporated into the game, including automatic guns (eight types), mines, bombs, radios and binoculars.
The game's graphics are effective. Atmospheric audio accompanies play.
