Warlords: Battlecry

Strategy game with RPG elements. Set in a fantasy universe. Although related to the other 'Warlords' games, this game involves real-time, rather than turn-based, gaming and is not part of the series proper. The game combines good graphics with in-depth gameplay and a well-designed gameworld. You define and develop a character through the game, which consists of a series of missions. The premise is that two magical meteorites have struck the planet, one good and one evil. After the first section of the game you can choose to fight on either side. The gameplay involves resource management and tactical combat incorporating diverse types of unit, weapons and magical spells. Alongside main single-player game is a Skirmish mode, which gives players specific objectives to be completed, and a multi-player mode for games via LAN or Net.
