You begin the game by defining your character, choosing its class and deciding whether to concentrate on magic or brawn. The gameplay consists of exploration and combat. Weapons include swords and a good range of magical spells. Your character gains experience and new equipment as the game progresses. There are numerous NPCs to converse with.
The game's control and menu systems are effective. The game boasts generally good design and graphics. Atmospheric audio accompanies play.
