Savage Arena

Action/ball-based fantasy sports game. Set in a bleak future where a violent sport called Savage Arena is popular, you take control of one of thirty teams. There are two main game types; tussle mode where individuals or teams of two face it off with three kinds of weapons, and league where full teams of eight players meet each other. Play against the computer or a friend. In league mode you must train your players and decide their formation in the arena and then lead them to victory. The aim of the game is to score goals and players can use weapons in an attempt to thwart their opponents, these include guns and chainsaws. There are various zones from which to shoot and each earns a set number of points. The game offers a degree of customizability, for instance you can set the duration of matches and special moves available. There is a choice of views available making it easier to keep track of the action. The violence in this game makes it potentially unsuitable for the younger gamer. The game employs effective 3D graphics.
