Dragon's Lair 3D
3D action adventure game currently in development for PC, Mac and PlayStation 2. Based on an arcade classic this will be a fully-fledged game, rather than the interactive movie-style original. It is being developed with the involvement of the creator of the original game and some successful animated movies, such as The Land Before Time, Don Bluth.
You'll take the role of Dirk The Daring as he embarks on a quest to rescue the Princess Daphne from the clutches of Singe the Dragon. Dirk will have an extensive range of moves at his disposal, including the ability to somersault. The game will consist of a series of 16 levels set inside the castle. Numerous enemy types will feature, such as evil wizards and monsters. The game promises detailed animation-style 3D graphics combined with good design.
