Disney's Dinosaur
Adventure game that employs a top-down perspective. It is based on the animated movie. The game follows a young iguanodon named Aladar who, with this friends, must try to find a safe place to live following a meteor crash. There are three playable characters in all, Aladar. Flia (a pterodactyl) and Zini (a lemur). Each have their own special abilities.
The gameplay involves exploration, avoiding obstacles, facing enemies and collecting items. There is also some puzzle solving. The game is aimed at kids, although younger ones are likely to find it too challenging. There is an educational aspect to the game, each time the player defeats a new type of dinosaur they are added to an encyclopedia. The encyclopedia features 3D models and fact files. The game's graphics recreate the feel of the movie successfully. The control system is straightforward.
