Traditional game. This a high-quality conversion of the family board game. It can be played against the computer or other players over LAN or on-line.
Apart from displaying the board there is another display which shows the letters still available in the game - a useful function if you're trying to decide whether to wait for a letter or to assess the risks of playing a particular word in a particular place. There is also a tips function in which the computer offers selections of words using your letters. Other options give you control over turn time-limits, board color and the music. The difficulty level when playing against the computer can be adjusted, and there are five difficulty settings in all.
Another major component of the game is its comprehensive dictionary to check words. Definitions are included, so you can even expand you vocabulary.
The board and letter tiles are rendered in 3D and the graphics are good. There are also cool visual effects when you place your word - the tiles will explode and disappear if the word is incorrect. There are a variety of well-known classical tunes to accompany play.
