Budget re-release of this effective racing sim. The game employed good 3D graphics for its time, and a high-quality, realistic physics engine.
There are several game options including single-player races and championship and a multi-player option that allows for up to eight players to race over a network or on-line. As you'd expect from a Grand Prix sim, there are many setup options. An innovative feature of the game was the ability to adjust all aspects of the difficulty by turning on or off auto transmission, steering and brake assist.
There are 16 tracks included in the game. They are rendered in accurate detail, as are the cars. A good range of sound effects accompany play.
