Lego Rock Raiders

Real-time strategy/puzzle game featuring Lego figures and aimed primarily at kids.

The game's premise is that you control the crew of a space ship that is taken far from home by a wormhole. In order to get back you must collect the crystals needed to power the ship. The game is divided into a series of missions set in an underground complex. There is also a good set of training levels to help you get the hang of the gameplay.

The objectives of missions vary but largely involving finding certain things. Each one involves building a base, mining for resources, constructing more buildings and training your men. Lots of different types of equipment and tools are included in the game.

You organize the lego-men and can 'possess' any of them at will, providing a first-person perspective. The control and menu system are easy-to-use and effective.

The game boasts good 3D graphics. Play is accompanied by a good range of sound effects and a beat-driven musical soundtrack.
