B-17 Flying Fortress 2: The Mighty Eighth
Flight sim with team-management strategy component. Updated version of B-17 Flying Fortress. The game consists of numerous missions set in the skies over various parts of Europe. Both planes and terrain are accurately recreated.
The game includes single plane bombing runs as well as squadron missions. The interior of the planes and the crew are rendered in full 3D.
You must manage you human resources, balancing crews according to their members' skills. Crew members have their own skills which improve as time goes on. As a result you can lose forever crew members with developed skills, adding a dimension to the game.
There is a multi-player mode for play over LAN or on-line. Up to 32 players can participate. In this mode players can play team-members of a single plane.
