Cool Pool
Pool sim aimed at the younger gamer. There are several game options including eight and nine ball pool and billiards. In addition, there are some special options - such as a poker game, where each ball represents a playing card. There are three difficulty levels to add re-playability to the game.
The game employs a simple control system, using the mouse you choose from three pre-selected angles and then a power meter determines the force of the shot. There is an option to turn on a sight to help novice players see the trajectory of their shot.
Up to four players, as team members or individuals, can play on the same PC or on-line.
The game's graphics and audio are adequate if not state-of-the-art.
