UEFA Champions League Season 1999/2000
Soccer sim featuring the current team line-ups in this prestigious European club competition. There are 32 clubs included. Game options include full season, exhibition matches, scenario and a multi-player option. In scenario mode you can replay any of the finals in the competition's history from 1970 onwards. Another notable inclusion is the custom tournament mode that allows you to define your own tournament perimeters and fixtures.
The main game is the full season mode that allows you to recreate this year's fixtures. Numerous statistics are incorporated to help you assess the strengths of each team. It is also possible to create your own dream team from the players included in the game.
The game interface and graphics have been refined since the last game in the series. Controls in-match are effective and the action is fast and furious.
The graphics are impressive and extensive use is made of motion-capturing to good effect. The audio is of a similarly high standard and a TV-style commentary is provided by Kevin Keegan, Bob Wilson and Clive Tyldesley.
