Age of Wonders
Turn-based strategy game based in a fantasy universe.
You are the ruler of a growing empire. You choose from 12 different races and between the sides of good and evil. There are some 100 different units in the game, each with four skill levels. There is a strong plot line which unfolds as you reach certain points and make decisions within the game.
The game's plot revolves around a human invasion of an island populated by two types of elves, one pacifist and the other aggressive. It develops into a major show-down for control of the island.
The game requires resource management and diplomacy. It is played in two views, that showing your empire and a battle mode. The battle can be automated or controlled on a zoom-in map.
The graphics and visual effects in this game are good.
