Imperialism
Turn-based strategy/empire-building sim. The game is set during the 19th Century, a time of political upheaval and new technologies due to the Industrial Revolution. The game offers three historically-based campaigns, as well as open-ended games against the computer or a friend (over LAN or Net).
The gameplay involves resource management, city building, expanding your empire and combat. Effective trade and diplomacy are important ingredients for success.. The game is a played through a series of annotated maps. As expected, it now looks pretty dated. The complex interface is effective once mastered.
