Real-time strategy/war game set during WW2. You take control of one of three forces; the Allies, Russians or Germans. The game combines large, well-rendered landscapes and authentic units with a good control system for well-balanced gameplay. Many unit types with feature, covering land and air. The main single-player mode is campaign mode. There are three campaigns, one for each force. Campaign missions can also be played separately. Famous episodes are recreated, such as the Battle of Stalingrad and D-Day landings. There is also a strong multi-player mode for up to 12 players, arranged in teams, via LAN or Net. The game is played on an isometric landscape with 3D units. The interface is effective.
