The Game of LIFE
Version of the traditional board game. Play against the computer or a group of friends (on same PC or via LAN or Net). The gameplay involves moving a car-shaped counter around a twisting board. There is also a virtual money system. The game is turn-based and a spinner decides how many spaces to move. At points you'll have to make decisions, such as whether to go to college or which types of insurance you purchase. There are pegs that fit into the car, denoting a growing family. Each square has a set of instructions, including forfeits or gains or expenditures of cash. You can also choose to spend some of your money during the game. Numerous animations are incorporated.
As well as the classic game there is an enhanced mode that offers additions to the standard gameplay. The game boasts good design and graphics and a simple control system. A commentary accompanies play and it includes many humorous touches. There is also a good musical sound track featuring well-known artists.
