M25 Racer
Road racing game. The game is divided into three leagues of increasing speed. You must compete against seven computer controlled cars.
Races take place on a variety of British roads. Among the locations reproduced are the M25, inner London (including the areas around Piccadilly Circus, the Houses of Parliament and the Millennium Dome) and Oxford. The tracks and settings are rendered in good detail and varied accuracy. The roads are shared with other traffic, which you must navigate around. You and your fellow racers must avoid the police who give chase and set up road blocks. Cash bonuses can be earned for knocking down police speed cameras.
Success in the races earns cash that can be spent on new cars or upgrading your vehicle. Cars range from a mini-type car (the 'Nimi') to more high-powered vehicles, such as the MBW and GM! There is a damage meter displayed on-screen that when full ends your race. There are garages scattered along the roadside where you can have repairs carried out.
The game's graphics and sound are adequate.
