F-16 Aggressor
Combat flight sim set in the near future. You play a member of a mercenary squadron, the Aggressor Squadron, that works for a federation of democratic governments. After each successful mission you'll get money to be spent on new hardware.
There are several game options, including quick start mission and four campaigns set in the skies over various African states. The campaign missions have a good variation of objectives. You select your weapon load before each mission. It is also possible to customize missions, deciding location, strength of enemy, weather and time of day.
This is a detailed sim with a realistic flight model and control system and the game is generally challenging.. As expected, the controls are complex although there is a set of tutorials included in the game to help you. Air conditions accurately effect the aircraft's handling. There are a good choice of views available.
The game's graphics are impressive, with both terrain and planes rendered in detail. A fitting range of sound effects accompany play.
