Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption
RPG/ Adventure game based on the white Wolf Vampire role-playing system..
Within the system there are a wide variety of different types of vampire that are formed into clans. The game's setting is 12th Century Europe, as well as the present day.
The game's central character is Christ of, a 12th the Century crusader who ends up the present day. The modern action takes place in the cities of London and New York.
The gameplay involves exploration, interaction with other characters, combat and puzzle-solving Along the way other characters join your group. As well as developing your skills, it is necessary for you to maintain your energy by drinking blood. The other traditional myths about vampires come into play, such as the wooden-stake-through-the-heart routine (although it is not actually fatal) and the deleterious effect of holy objects and daylight. Vampires also have the ability to change their form and this comes into play during combat in particular.
The game is rendered in 3D and a variety of viewpoints is available. Character movement is controlled by a mouse point-and-click system.
The game incorporates a multi-player mode that allows for up to 8 players to play on-line or over LAN. The multi-player game consists of team play, where you can choose to battle each other or co-operate against another group.
