TOCA2: Touring Car Challenge
Sequel to a successful original. This official touring car championship sim features actual vehicles, drivers and tracks.
There are eight cars and the same number of tracks and drivers. There is comprehensive set of stats on the drivers and cars to help you make the right selections. The game recreates the two-car team and pit systems of the TOCA races well and you'll receive audio updates during the race.
There are several game options including single race, full championshop and multi-player races. The multi-player optin is particualr note since it allows up to four people to compete on a split screen or up to eigjt via network or on-line. There are several difficulty levels that add replayability to the single-player game. The AI is correspondingly boasted on the higher settings.
The game boasts good 3D graphics. A nice feature is that damage os realstically rendered. Play is acocmpanied by a good range of sound effects and background music.
