Clue 2: Murder at Boddy Mansion
Game based on the hit family board game. Mr. Boddy has been murdered and there are six suspects (the standard group; Miss Scarlet, Prof. Plum, Col. Mustard, Rev. Peacock, Mr. Green, Mrs. White). Play against the computer or up to five friends.
As in the board game there is a system of cards representing locations, potential murders and weapons. You travel around the board/mansion with each player making accusations when they reach a room. Select from a virtual dice or a standard number per move.
By a process of elimination the details of the murder emerge. There is a notepad system in the game to help you keep track of the suggestions that have been made.
There are a choice of views available, you can opt for the traditional overhead or isometric view of the game board. Numerous cutscenes are incorporated into the game, adding a dimension lacking in the board game version.
The game's interface and control system are effective. The graphics are good and a great range of atmospheric sound effects and upbeat music accompany the game.
