Severance: Blade of Darkness
Acclaimed third-person action adventure game with RPG element. The game has been in development for 5 years. You have a choice of four characters, the Knight, Barbarian, Dwarf or Amazon. Each has distinctive advantages and disadvantages and these effect the way you play the game successfully with each character and the effectiveness of the various moves.
The gameplay involves exploring the large, well-designed levels, facing a variety of monsters. There is also some puzzle solving. The game employs a fairly complex control system, which once mastered is highly effective. Characters will improve with experience and unlock new fighting moves. Over 100 different weapons are available including a variety of swords and arrows. The game's graphics are good. The violent and gory nature of the game makes it suitable for adults only.
