Samurai Shodown: Warrior's Rage
Samurai-inspired fighting game. This is a 3D update of an old 2D classic. Set 20 years after the first Samurai Shodown, only two familiar characters feature, and they're now a bit old!
The fighting action is slower and more deliberate than many similar games. There are numerous moves to master and blocks and counter-attacks play an important role. Fighters can pull off special moves when their power meter is filled after successful attacks. An unusual feature of this game is that fighters stop mid-battle to taunt each other.
Game options include single-player story and attack modes, and a two-player versus mode. Attack mode is only unlocked when the story mode has been completed and it enables players to unlock many new features. The games graphics, audio and controls system are reasonable.
