A Bug's Life
Adventure game based on the hit movie for kids available for PC, N64 and PlayStation.
You play Flik the ant who must defeat the grasshoppers who are threatening his home. You guide him through 15 levels culminating in the celebration of a harvest festival. Many of the other characters from the movie feature and some of them will help Flik on his mission. The gameplay involves exploration, collecting items, puzzle-solving and defeating enemies (by throwing fruit at them!). Along the way you'll come across numerous nature-related facts.
The game combines fun and education effectively. The PC version includes numerous activities, such as making a bug puppet show. Another good feature of the is the virtual camera that allows you to take snaps during your journey.
The game world is rendered in 3D and the characters are well animated (particularly on a decent PC).
A range of cartoon-style sound effects and musical tunes accompany play.
